Diogenes

Diogenes is an amazing, especially sweet, friendly, very affectionate cat. He is a  curious yet calm, and smart senior tabby who loves to cuddle and sleep with humans. He is passionate about wet food and treats. As soon as you open a container of Greenies or a tube of Churu, he will stare into your soul while trying to look as cute as possible. When he’s not eating, cuddling or sleeping, he enjoys playing with his favorite toy, a laser light, and he chases it with gusto. He purrs when you pet him, and lets me trim his claws if followed by treats.

 

Diogenes would be great in a home of calm adults and children whom he can keep company while they read, watch television or cook. He gets a bit anxious with new people or when there are sudden movements or noise, but once he knows you he is fine. He loves human laps, taking a nap on your bed, curling up in a cat bed, disappearing inside cat condos, and looking out the window.

He would be best as an ONLY cat. He has truly flourished being an “only.”  Anyone lucky enough to make Diogenes part of his or her family will be blessed with a loving and devoted companion. Please let me know if you would like Diogenes to be your new best friend and nap buddy!
