Cashew

Cashew is a very cuddly, affectionate, and loving indoor feline. She will gladly welcome you at the door each time you return home from your day! Cashew also has a special talent and recognizes her own name – she will come to you and hop onto your lap every time you call for her. Needless to say, your lap is her favorite seat in the house.

Cashew is great with both people and children, but prefers to live in a household where she is the only cat. She currently in a foster home with two other cats, which makes a bit uncomfortable and cranky at times. But not only is she very affectionate towards her human companions, she is engaging and vocal as well. Despite being 10-12 years old, she still has a lot of energy and enjoys playtime and a light exercise. Shyness is not a word that lives in Cashew’s vocabulary, although she has never shown any destructive tendencies (no scratching or breaking things ever). She is a very social animal (exclusively with humans) and is usually making her rounds with guests to make sure everyone knows who runs the show (Cashew does). We have a theory that she grew up around dogs as a kitten, as she loves to give kisses whenever the opportunity presents itself!

Hairball control cat food is the best option for her diet. She currently enjoys Hill’s Science Diet – Hairball Control kibble and wet food. The occasional unseasoned canned tuna and boiled chicken is her favorite treat! Cashew has no pre existing health conditions and is a very healthy cat. Basic grooming (weekly brushing and mani/pedis) will keep Cashew happy and in tip-top shape!
