Bliss

You’ll soon find that Bliss is a very special girl!

Bliss is sweet, friendly, social, and enjoys lots of human and cat company. She loves to play and romp, nothing can slow her down—except cuddles! You’ll find her curled up with her kitten friends, grooming and snoozing. Being the active and social young lady she is, Bliss does need to be adopted in to a home with a friendly/active cat or with one of her young cat friends.

Bliss and her litter-mates Bunny and Mojo Jojo were rescued from the city shelter, where they were scheduled to be euthanized. The shelter did not recognize that they had a neurological condition, called Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH). Kitten Rescue has a lot of experience caring for cats with this condition, so we immediately knew we had to rescue them! CH is a neurological condition where the brain does not develop properly in the womb, causing the cat to be wobbly when they walk or unbalanced.

Bliss has an extremely mild form of CH and can to do everything that other cats can, but only with a very cute little wobble when she walks or runs. She can easily climb, run, and use the litter box without a problem. She does not require any kind of special care. In fact, you would never even know she was any different from any other cat—we think that she is absolutely purrfect just the way she is! Come meet Bliss at our partner Tail Town adoption Lounge in Pasadena (https://tailtowncats.com/), where she’s made lots of cat and human friends!
