Bean
Bean (Beanie) is a hunky boy — the brawniest among his siblings. This curious tabby is affectionate and engaging. Bean kitty loves his people. He will peek in to see if you’re asleep, notice your laugh and will inquire about some hugs. This tabby’s wonderful, sweet temperament and giant purr makes him a lovely companion.
Beanie loves his “birdie” and he knows exactly where you hid it. As long as there’s feathers involved, this will always be his favorite wand toy. This playful, fun loving guy loves wrestling and plotting shenanigans his brothers (Mouse and Simon), hanging out with his people and grabbing a good snooze in the afternoon. He loves a good solid and tall scratching post and the fresh air and sunshine of a good window.
Beanie’s heart is as big as a house and his way the world is that of a faithful friend. He will look straight into your eyes, love every bit of attention he can get while purring all along the way. Sometimes he forgets that everything isn’t about him and gets his feelings hurt a little, but who doesn’t need a little kind-hearted encouragement to grow into their best selves? This dear and kind-hearted boy seeks the same in his person.
Born in April, Beanie still hasn’t grown entirely into the big boy we think he will be. He’s an American short-haired tabby with distinctive bold, black on tan markings. He’s a handsome boy.
He’s observant, has an emotionally expressive face, and is a bit more head strong than his siblings—which expresses itself in playing with his toy first and snoozing in the “good” spot by the window. Bean is non aggressive and generally has a medium energy level. For him it’s not critical to find the highest place to climb or cause the biggest ruckus. He’s been known to scale a door or two, but only because his brother was showing off.
Bean currently lives with his siblings and will need to be adopted with one of his brothers or into a home with another playful companion(s) to bond with. Bean has never been around dogs but his kind-hearted disposition tells us this kitty will likely do well with a kind-hearted dog friend.
Bean kitty is fully box-trained and fully vetted. He is on a diet that includes both wet (breakfast and dinner) and dry food (always) that provides adequate protein, fiber and variety. He loves to munch on his sprouting wheat grass for good digestion and always has some growing in his favorite places.
