Bam Bam

Bam Bam is a very handsome former tom cat from some unknown part of Orange County. Not much is known about where he came from or what his life was like before coming to us, but what IS known is that he was a day away from euthanasia after showing up in the Tustin shelter with a leg injury.

Bam Bam has a big head and thick neck due to his formerly intact adult male status, and he’s a substantial boy at around 15 pounds! Bam Bam is very happy indoors but prefers to spend long hours of the day watching cat TV (aka sitting at the window). He is very well behaved and does not claw at screens, but a catio may be an ideal situation for this former tomcat. We suspect now that Bam Bam was at least partially an indoor cat in his former life.

Bam Bam is supremely confident most of the time and rarely reacts to other cats’ hisses or warnings, but he shows clear distrust of dogs. He is usually concerned with enjoying his next meal and where to take his daily naps! Bam Bam loves cuddle time on the sofa or bed, and is a hefty armful of love! He puts his head all the way back for chin scratches, and has a deep purr of enjoyment. Bam Bam LOVES wet food, some dry foods and helping himself into cabinets and cupboards. His ideal home would be quiet, with large windows and large surfaces for Bam Bam to sleep on.

He is a bit sensitive around his injured hind leg as it’s still healing, and does not enjoy being touched there much, but will give plenty of clear warnings that he doesn’t like it. Bam Bam is quite talkative, although it is subsiding as more time passes post-neuter (on 2/1/22). Taking care of Bam Bam has been a rollercoaster of events and emotions, but he is such a sweet, funny character who deserves the best furrever home.
