Kitten Rescue was founded in the spring of 1997 and has grown to be one of the largest and most respected animal welfare groups in Los Angeles. We are a non-profit, volunteer-run organization devoted to finding loving new homes for unwanted, homeless cats and kittens. Kitten Rescue volunteers place over 1,000 cats and kittens into homes every year. Since we began, we have rescued and placed over 31,000 cats (and counting!) into loving homes.

Need a kitten fix? Check out our Kitten Cam! This room at our KR Sanctuary is dedicated to nursing moms with litters of kittens. When we don’t happen to have a mom with a litter, we use this area as a romper room for some of our kittens waiting to be adopted.
