Simba is a chill, laid back young man! He loves to snooze, watch some toons, and just relax with his people. He’s still quite young, but prefers gentle play, a steady routine, and loving attention!

He’s cuddly once he settles in and loves affection, but doesn’t like a lot of racket or activity. Instead, he’ll go find a quite spot in a spot of sun and sleep until it’s over. Young energy stresses him out, so he’d prefer a quiet home with older cats and no dogs or kids.

Simba is FIV+, which means he has a more delicate immune system. But now, with a low stress indoor lifestyle, it’s not a big deal and he’s got a long, healthy life ahead of him! FIV is not a big deal; given proper care and attention, an FIV+ cat will live the same lifespan as an FIV negative cat. The disease is extremely hard to transmit from cat to cat, requiring direct blood contact (typically from a deep puncture wound). It is not transmissable to humans.
